Dubai Police will monitor vehicles with fines or seizure orders by tracking their use of public Parkin parking spaces citywide.
Dubai Police will now be able to automatically detect vehicles with unpaid fines or seizure notices the moment they access Parkin-managed parking areas. This will enable authorities to respond swiftly with appropriate legal measures.
The development comes as part of a strategic collaboration between Dubai Police and Parkin PJSC, aimed at linking the police’s traffic monitoring systems with Parkin’s smart parking and payment technologies.
Beyond addressing financial or legal violations, the integrated system will also help identify vehicles involved in criminal or traffic-related investigations, enhancing overall road safety and supporting ongoing law enforcement efforts across the city.

The initiative seeks to establish complete digital connectivity, enable smooth information exchange, and enhance the effectiveness and quality of public services.
At GITEX Global 2025 held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai Police formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Parkin PJSC, the emirate’s leading public parking provider.
The agreement was signed by Brigadier Issam Ibrahim Al Awar, Acting Director of Dubai Police’s General Department of Traffic, alongside Engineer Mohamed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, with officials and delegates from both organizations in attendance.
Dubai Police leads innovative law enforcement in the UAE, using advanced technology and community-focused strategies to ensure safety, enhance traffic management, and support Dubai’s vision of a secure, smart city.
Dubai’s parking integration uses smart technology to connect public parking systems with traffic management, enhancing convenience, reducing congestion, and enabling real-time monitoring for efficient urban mobility and improved city services.
Dubai Police leverage social media to enhance communication, engage with the community, share safety updates, gather public feedback, and promote transparency, strengthening trust and collaboration between law enforcement and residents.
Brigadier Al Awar stated that the agreement demonstrates Dubai Police’s dedication, guided by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, to fostering collaboration with both public and private sectors while advancing Dubai’s digital transformation objectives.
He highlighted that the collaboration with Parkin will enable the use of cutting-edge technology to enhance the management of traffic and parking. The integration of their systems will facilitate fast and secure information sharing, contributing to smoother traffic movement, improved planning, and more informed decision-making through reliable data.
“This project is a big step forward for road safety in Dubai,” Brigadier Al Awar said. “It will improve monitoring, ensure compliance with traffic laws, and reduce cases of unpaid fines or unlicensed vehicles on the road, all of which contribute to a safer and happier city.”
Eng. Mohamed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, said, “We’re proud to partner with Dubai Police on this important initiative. Together, we aim to make parking and traffic management smarter, safer, and more efficient for everyone. This collaboration reflects Parkin’s commitment to innovation and to supporting Dubai’s vision of becoming one of the world’s smartest and most sustainable cities.”
