Sharjah Man Wins Dh5 Million UAE Lottery Prize After Matching Six Numbers
A 59-year-old Indian resident of Sharjah has won Dh5 million in the UAE Lottery after correctly matching all six numbers in the Lucky Day draw held on October 3.
Kishore secured the second-tier prize after selecting the winning combination in the Days section. Despite the life-changing result, he initially struggled to accept that he had won, only becoming convinced after checking his account on the lottery’s official platform.
Recalling his reaction, Kishore said he first came across his name in news reports but assumed there might have been a mistake. It was only after logging into his account that he confirmed the news.
“I saw my name in the news, but I couldn’t believe it was me. Then I checked my account and realised it was true!” he said.
Kishore purchased his entry for Dh50 through the UAE Lottery’s official website, choosing the Easy Pick feature, which automatically generates a set of numbers for participants.
The October 3 draw took place on Saturday evening. The six winning Days numbers were 4, 5, 12, 14, 17 and 18, while 10 was announced as the Lucky Number.
By matching all six Days numbers, Kishore qualified for the Dh5 million second prize.
The lottery’s top award is Dh30 million and requires participants to match all six Days numbers along with the Lucky Month Number. Lucky Day draws are conducted twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, at 9.30pm.
According to the UAE Lottery, Kishore’s win marks another second-prize success since the Lucky Day game was introduced nationwide, adding to the list of participants who have secured substantial rewards through the draw.
