UAE Braces for Foggy Conditions as Humidity Climbs, Temperatures Reach 42°C in Dubai.

Weather conditions across the UAE are expected to turn increasingly humid tomorrow, with fog likely to develop in some areas. Temperatures are forecast to climb as high as 42°C in Dubai, while Sharjah and nearby regions may also experience hot conditions.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued red and yellow weather alerts for fog during the early hours of Friday, cautioning motorists and residents that visibility could drop significantly across several parts of the UAE

The UAE is set to experience mostly fair conditions on Saturday, September 26, with partly cloudy skies expected in some areas. Increasing humidity overnight could lead to the formation of fog or mist, particularly in certain locations, with similar conditions possible during the early hours of Sunday.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said the overall weather is expected to remain relatively pleasant. However, visibility could become limited in some coastal and inland areas as fog and mist develop, especially during the late-night and early-morning periods.

A red fog alert was issued by the NCM early Friday, urging residents to exercise caution when travelling outdoors. Drivers heading out during the weekend mornings are advised to slow down and stay particularly attentive in areas affected by reduced visibility. Motorists should also follow any safety guidance or instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

Winds are forecast to remain light to moderate, generally coming from the southeast and shifting towards the northeast. Wind speeds are expected to range between 10 and 20km/h, occasionally increasing to around 30km/h.

Temperatures will remain high across the country. On Friday, the UAE recorded a maximum temperature of 45.8°C in Al Gheweifat, located in the Al Dhafra Region, at around 3pm. For Saturday, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are expected to record maximum temperatures of about 42°C.

Minimum temperatures are forecast to reach 27°C in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, while Sharjah could see a low of around 26°C. Despite the relatively cooler overnight temperatures, residents can expect warm conditions during the daytime.

Marine conditions are expected to remain stable, with slight seas forecast in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. No major changes in sea conditions are anticipated during the day.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to stay updated with the latest weather information, particularly during the early morning hours when fog or mist could affect visibility in certain parts of the UAE.
