The latest group brings the total number of people who have benefited from the \u201cStep of Hope\u201d programme to 198 since the initiative began under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">The programme is part of the UAE\u2019s wider humanitarian response supporting Palestinians who require specialised medical assistance. Through its services, the initiative aims to help injured individuals improve their mobility, regain greater independence and return to everyday activities while supporting their rehabilitation and social reintegration.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">Following the fitting of their prosthetic limbs, beneficiaries continue to receive specialised care from medical and rehabilitation professionals. Treatment plans are developed according to each person\u2019s medical condition and individual recovery needs, with patients receiving guidance and therapy to help them adjust to their new limbs and gradually improve their ability to move and perform routine tasks.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">The \u201cStep of Hope\u201d programme follows a comprehensive rehabilitation model rather than focusing solely on the provision of prosthetic devices. Patients undergo medical evaluations before receiving suitable artificial limbs, followed by fitting procedures, physical therapy and mobility training.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">Ongoing medical monitoring is also included in the programme, allowing specialists to follow each beneficiary\u2019s progress and provide additional support when required. The combination of prosthetic care, rehabilitation and continued follow-up is intended to help patients adapt more effectively and achieve greater independence.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">Seven UAE humanitarian organisations and entities are supporting the programme. They include the International Charity Organisation, Sharjah Charity International, The Big Heart Foundation, Dar Al Ber Society, Zayed Authority for People of Determination, Ma\u2019an \u2013 Authority of Social Contribution, and the Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian and Charitable Works.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">The collaboration brings together several organisations to strengthen the humanitarian response and expand the support available to Palestinian beneficiaries. The initiative also reflects an approach centred on cooperation between different UAE institutions to provide medical and rehabilitation assistance.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">The UAE Floating Hospital continues to operate with specialised medical teams and advanced healthcare facilities, providing treatment and rehabilitation services to injured patients.
