Dubai International Airport is creating a festive atmosphere for returning passengers through a combination of live traditional music, family activities, mascots, personalised welcome signs, chocolates and complimentary refreshments<\/strong>.<\/p>

At the arrivals hall, families and friends can design their own greeting boards using stickers and Dubai-themed decorations before welcoming their loved ones.<\/p>

Live oud performances add a cultural element, while Dubai Police and GDRFA mascots provide photo opportunities for arriving passengers and children.<\/p>

Guest experience ambassadors are also present to greet travellers and distribute refreshments and treats, with support from oneDXB partners including Emirates Flight Catering, Project Chaiwala, Mirzam, Garrett Popcorn and the Emirati District.<\/p>

Airport staff have additionally been offering water and chocolates to passengers leaving the terminal.<\/p>

For families returning after long summer holidays, these gestures provide a cheerful end to their journeys. In Teixeira’s case, the warm reception accompanied an emotional reunion with her sister after more than a year apart.<\/p>
