The Bengaluru route was not the only Indian connection to witness a sharp increase. Flights from Kochi to Dubai also recorded a substantial jump in fares as more residents prepared to return to the UAE before schools reopened and normal work schedules resumed.<\/p>

A direct IndiGo flight from Kochi that was priced at about Dh1,424 for August 13 rose to nearly Dh2,943 for August 30. Other available flight choices from Kochi also became more expensive, with fares increasing from roughly Dh1,098 during the second week of August to approximately Dh1,887 by the final week of the month.<\/p>

The increase in prices from Kochi reflects the strong travel demand commonly seen on routes connecting Kerala with the UAE. Thousands of residents travel between the two regions throughout the year, and the end of the summer holiday period often results in higher booking activity as families and workers return.<\/p>

Passengers travelling from Kozhikode also faced higher costs during the same period. Ticket prices on the Kozhikode-Dubai route, which were around Dh1,174 during the second week of August, increased to a range of approximately Dh1,956 to Dh2,022 for flights at the end of the month.<\/p>

Other major Indian routes followed a similar pattern, although the level of increase varied. Hyderabad-Dubai fares climbed from about Dh857 in the middle of August to around Dh1,321 for late-August travel. Meanwhile, Mumbai-Dubai ticket prices increased from nearly Dh780 to approximately Dh1,095 over the same comparison period.<\/p>

The increase on the Delhi-UAE route was comparatively smaller. Fares that were available for around Dh877 during the second week of August rose to about Dh1,167 by the final week. While the increase was noticeable, it was less dramatic compared with some other Indian departure points.<\/p>

Outside India, routes from Lebanon also recorded higher prices. Beirut-UAE fares increased from approximately Dh831 to around Dh1,423, showing a significant rise as demand increased ahead of the late-summer return period.<\/p>

However, not every international route experienced a similar upward movement. The comparison showed that some markets remained stable or even became cheaper despite the overall increase seen on several popular routes.<\/p>

Flights from Egypt showed only a limited change during the period reviewed. Cairo-UAE fares increased slightly, moving from around Dh1,066 during the second week of August to approximately Dh1,132 in the final week. The small difference indicates that demand pressure was not as strong on this route compared with some Indian and Lebanese connections.<\/p>

Pakistan routes followed a different trend, with ticket prices remaining steady or declining. A direct flight from Karachi to the UAE that was available for about Dh919 on August 11 dropped to approximately Dh792 for travel on August 30.
