Four Indian nationals were killed and another was critically injured after a commercial cargo ship departing from Ukraine’s southern port of Odesa came under missile attack on Sunday. The incident, confirmed by India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), has drawn strong condemnation from New Delhi, which called the assault on a civilian vessel unacceptable and urged greater protection for commercial shipping in conflict zones.<\/p>

According to the MEA, the ship had a crew of 17 members, including five Indians and several Syrian nationals. Following the attack, four Indian crew members lost their lives, while one Indian sailor sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Odesa.<\/p>
