The United Arab Emirates has strongly denounced the deadly shooting that occurred at a school in Tacloban City, Philippines, expressing deep concern over the loss of lives and injuries caused by the violent incident.<\/p>

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement expressing the country\u2019s firm rejection of all acts of violence and criminal behaviour that threaten public safety, disrupt social stability and endanger innocent lives. The ministry reaffirmed that violence, extremism and attacks targeting civilians are unacceptable under any circumstances and stressed the importance of strengthening efforts to promote security and peace.<\/p>

In its statement, the ministry conveyed the UAE\u2019s solidarity with the Philippines during this difficult time and extended its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack. It also expressed sympathy to the victims\u2019 relatives, as well as to the government and people of the Philippines, while wishing a rapid recovery for those who sustained injuries.<\/p>
