Leaders and rulers across the United Arab Emirates joined worshippers on Wednesday morning to perform Eid Al Adha prayers at mosques throughout the country, marking the occasion with messages of faith, unity, and national solidarity.<\/p>

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended Eid prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, where large numbers of worshippers gathered to observe one of the most important celebrations in the Islamic calendar. The atmosphere at the mosque reflected the spirit of devotion and togetherness that characterises Eid Al Adha across the UAE.<\/p>

Praying alongside the President were several senior leaders and members of the ruling family, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, as well as Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. A number of sheikhs, senior officials, and members of the public also joined the congregation for the special Eid prayer.<\/p>

During the Eid sermon delivered after the prayer, Dr Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, spoke about the importance of sincerity, honesty, and sacrifice in both personal life and society. The sermon, titled \u201cOur Eid is sincerity and sacrifice,\u201d focused on values that strengthen communities and promote unity among people.<\/p>

Dr Al Darei explained that honesty is one of the foundations of a stable and successful society. He noted that truthful conduct and sincere intentions help build trust between individuals while also contributing to the strength and development of nations. According to the sermon, societies thrive when people act with integrity, loyalty, and a genuine commitment to serving others.<\/p>

He also highlighted the role of the UAE\u2019s leadership in establishing the country on principles rooted in honesty, dedication, and unity. From the early days of the nation\u2019s formation, he said, the leadership demonstrated sincerity of purpose and a shared determination to build a secure and prosperous country. These values, he added, played an important role in shaping the UAE into a stable and respected nation.<\/p>

The sermon further emphasized that loyalty to one\u2019s homeland is reflected through sincere service, responsible actions, and commitment to national progress. Dr Al Darei said individuals who remain truthful and devoted to their country contribute to preserving stability and protecting the well-being of society. According to him, honesty is not limited to personal behaviour but also extends to public responsibility and national service.<\/p>

Following the conclusion of the prayers and sermon, Sheikh Mohamed exchanged Eid greetings with worshippers gathered at the mosque. The atmosphere remained warm and welcoming as worshippers greeted one another and shared blessings marking the special occasion.<\/p>

The UAE President, together with the accompanying sheikhs and officials, also recited Surah Al Fatiha in remembrance of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE. The moment reflected respect and appreciation for Sheikh Zayed\u2019s legacy and his role in establishing the country and guiding its development.<\/p>

Across the Emirates, similar scenes unfolded as rulers and senior leaders joined worshippers in Eid Al Adha prayers at mosques and prayer grounds in different cities. In Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, performed the Eid prayer at Zabeel Grand Mosque. He was joined by several sheikhs, government officials, citizens, and residents who gathered together to mark the beginning of Eid celebrations.<\/p>

The prayer gatherings across the UAE reflected the country\u2019s diverse and united society, with worshippers from various nationalities and backgrounds standing side by side in prayer. The shared observance highlighted values of faith, compassion, and community spirit that are central to Eid Al Adha.<\/p>

In Sharjah, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, attended Eid Al Adha prayers at Sharjah Mosque alongside senior members of the ruling family and large numbers of worshippers. The gathering reflected the spiritual significance of the occasion as residents and citizens came together in prayer during one of the most important Islamic celebrations of the year.<\/p>

Accompanying the Sharjah Ruler were Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, as well as Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The presence of senior officials and members of the royal family added to the importance of the gathering, which brought together worshippers from different backgrounds in an atmosphere of devotion and community spirit.<\/p>

The prayer at Sharjah Mosque was attended by large numbers of citizens and residents who gathered early in the morning to observe the Eid prayer. Worshippers filled prayer halls and surrounding areas as the emirate joined the rest of the country in celebrating Eid Al Adha through collective prayer and reflection.<\/p>

Meanwhile, in Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, performed the Eid Al Adha prayer at Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Mosque. The gathering drew a significant number of worshippers, including officials, community leaders, and residents representing various Arab and Islamic communities living in the UAE.<\/p>

Joining the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for the prayer was Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, together with several sheikhs and senior representatives from federal and local government departments. The event highlighted the communal and inclusive spirit of Eid, with people from different nationalities and backgrounds standing side by side in worship.<\/p>

Worshippers from across the emirate gathered at the mosque during the early hours of the morning to participate in the congregational prayer and celebrate the beginning of Eid festivities.<\/p>

Accompanying the Fujairah Ruler was Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, along with several sheikhs and senior government officials. The prayer gathering reflected the importance of Eid as both a spiritual and social occasion that brings communities together through faith and shared traditions.<\/p>

Following the completion of the prayer, Sheikh Hamad exchanged Eid greetings and well wishes with worshippers and officials present at the mosque. In Umm Al Qaiwain, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu\u2019alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, performed Eid Al Adha prayers at Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mu\u2019alla Mosque. The prayer gathering brought together senior officials, members of the ruling family, and residents of the emirate in a shared atmosphere of faith and reflection.<\/p>

Joining the Ruler during the Eid prayer were Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu\u2019alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu\u2019alla, Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain. Several sheikhs, senior officials, and community members also attended the prayer alongside worshippers gathered at the mosque.<\/p>

Joining Sheikh Humaid during the prayer was Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, together with several sheikhs, heads of government departments, senior officials, citizens, and residents. The participation of community members from different backgrounds reflected the diversity and unity that characterise Eid celebrations throughout the UAE.<\/p>

The atmosphere at Al Zaher Palace Mosque was marked by reflection, gratitude, and a strong sense of community. Worshippers stood together in prayer before exchanging Eid greetings and gathering with family and friends after the service concluded.<\/p>
