Shiny Davison, Principal of Woodlem Park School, said the upcoming extended Eid break comes at an important time, particularly after an intense academic period. She explained that a five- or even six-day holiday would be especially meaningful for teachers, who have demonstrated remarkable commitment and perseverance in recent months. Many of them continued working without the benefit of winter or spring vacations, while also navigating the pressures of teaching through online platforms during the demanding months of April and May. According to her, this break offers a well-deserved chance for educators to step back, relax, and regain their energy.<\/p>

Davison also emphasized that students will gain from the holiday, as it provides them with an opportunity to take a mental break from their studies, spend time with friends and family, and return refreshed. She reassured parents that despite the pause, academic progress will remain uninterrupted. The school has already put measures in place within its academic planning to ensure that learning continues smoothly without any negative impact on the curriculum.<\/p>

Meanwhile, schools across the UAE report that the period leading up to the Eid holidays has been carefully structured, with a strong focus on revision and consistent communication with families. This is particularly important as some parents may be planning travel before the onset of the intense summer heat. American Academy for Girls Principal Lisa Johnson noted that maintaining clarity and consistency has been a top priority. She explained that throughout the distance learning phase, the school has ensured students stayed engaged and academically on track. As the holiday approaches, the administration has made deliberate efforts to clearly communicate schedules and expectations in advance, helping families plan ahead with confidence.<\/p>
