The UAE on Wednesday, December 31, released the petrol prices that will apply in January 2026, announcing a reduction set by the Fuel Prices Monitoring Committee, offering motorists some early New Year relief.<\/p>

Fuel rates in the country are reviewed and approved monthly by the Ministry of Energy. Prices are calculated based on the average global oil price trend, either rising or falling, along with the operating costs incurred by fuel distribution companies. The revised prices will come into effect from January 1, 2026.<\/p>

    With the new rates, motorists will spend between Dh8.67 and Dh12.58 less<\/strong> to fill a full tank compared to December, depending on the vehicle type and fuel grade used.<\/p>
