The United Arab Emirates has been recognised as the most\u202fimproved higher\u2011education system across the Arab world, according to the Quacquarelli\u202fSymonds (QS)\u202fWorld\u202fUniversity\u202fRankings: Arab Region\u202f2026.In this year\u2019s edition, fifteen UAE institutions appear in the regional rankings. Of these, nine improved their positions from the previous year, one held steady, while four slipped.The UAE\u2019s strong showing is underscored by having three universities in the top\u202f10 and six in the top\u202f20 \u2013 a tally that is twice that of any other Arab nation.Standout performers include Khalifa\u202fUniversity, which advanced to 3rd place in the region (up from 4th), driven by enhanced employer\u2011reputation and academic\u2011reputation scores. The United\u202fArab\u202fEmirates\u202fUniversity maintained its 5th\u2011place ranking, while the American\u202fUniversity\u202fof\u202fSharjah climbed to 9th, and University\u202fof\u202fSharjah made its first entry into the top\u202f20 at 14th.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
