Fog warning declared; overcast conditions expected today.

A fog warning has been issued to alert people about reduced visibility and potential travel disruptions. Additionally, the day is expected to remain overcast, with thick cloud cover and dull, gloomy weather conditions.

Weather conditions across the UAE are expected to remain mostly clear to partly overcast on Monday, December 8, 2025.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported that patches of low-lying clouds will form over several islands and certain western regions of the country during the day.

Authorities have also issued red and yellow fog warnings, effective from 1am until 10am, due to significantly reduced visibility in various areas.
Motorists and early-morning commuters are advised to exercise caution while driving, as dense fog may affect road safety.

Residents in the western coastal zones will continue to feel increased humidity through Monday night and into early Tuesday morning.
Humidity levels are forecast to fluctuate between 20% and 75% across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, creating a slightly damp and hazy atmosphere.

Temperatures are expected to rise tomorrow, with Abu Dhabi reaching a daytime high of 30°C, while Dubai and Sharjah may see temperatures peak at 31°C.
Night-time temperatures will drop to 19°C in Abu Dhabi, 21°C in Dubai, 18°C in Sharjah, and could reach as low as 10°C in interior regions.

Light to moderate winds will move from the southeast to the northeast throughout the day, bringing mild and comfortable breezes.
Sea conditions will remain calm, with the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea staying generally slight, making marine activities safe for most small vessels.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will prevail, while both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea remain calm with slight waves.

Forecasters note that changing weather patterns may continue throughout the week, with slight fluctuations in temperature and humidity expected across the northern and coastal regions. Commuters are advised to stay updated with official alerts, as early-morning fog could return intermittently. Overall, conditions will remain stable with no major weather disturbances anticipated.
