Dh1 Million Big Ticket Prize to Be Shared Among 10 UAE Expats

Ten expatriates in the UAE will share a Dh1 million prize after winning the Big Ticket draw. The lucky winners expressed excitement and gratitude for their life-changing windfall.

In the most recent Big Ticket draw, ten fortunate participants from Bangladesh, Canada, China, India, and the Philippines each received Dh100,000. With a total prize fund of Dh1 million, the draw continues to attract widespread interest, offering players the opportunity to win substantial, life-changing amounts.

Yahia Almasri

A Canadian national employed by a Dubai news channel, who has lived in the UAE for 15 years, first discovered Big Ticket through a friend three years ago. Since then, he has made it a habit to buy tickets every month.

Looking back, he explained that he often waited to see if the Big Ticket team would call about bundle deals, as he never wanted to miss a good promotion. Even during months without any offers, he still purchased his tickets, determined to remain consistent in his participation.

Lin Zhao

A 40-year-old Chinese homemaker and part-time real estate agent, who has spent 17 years in Dubai, was introduced to Big Ticket by her husband and decided to join in.

She explained that one of her husband’s friends had previously won the top Big Ticket prize, which motivated her to give it a shot. This was her very first ticket purchase—and it turned out to be a winning one. At first, the congratulatory call felt unreal, but after receiving the confirmation email and watching the announcement on YouTube, the reality sank in. She described the experience as astonishing and almost impossible to put into words.

Antonio Plasabas

Antonio Plasabas, a 54-year-old Filipino supervisor, has lived in Abu Dhabi with his family for 17 years. Friends first introduced him to Big Ticket, and for the past 13 years he has been buying a ticket every other month.

He typically enters the draw on his own, and this is the first time he has ever won. “I was truly shocked when I learned the news,” he said. Antonio plans to share his prize with his daughter, and he has already secured his ticket for the upcoming draw.

Rakesh Kumar Kodwani

A 37-year-old sales manager from Rajasthan has been based in Dubai with his family since 2019. He discovered Big Ticket through online platforms and has been buying tickets annually for the last four years.

Rakesh shared that his main goal is to use the winnings to take care of his family, and he intends to keep participating in future draws—he’s already secured his ticket for next month.

Tintu Jesmon

A 40-year-old nurse from Kerala, who has lived in Ajman with her family for 15 years, first heard about Big Ticket through social media as well as from friends and coworkers. Five years ago, she decided to participate for the first time.

Her winning ticket was bought as part of a group of ten. She said she was both shocked and thrilled when she found out they had won. She intends to share the prize evenly among the group members and continue taking part in future draws.

Mohammad Kaimullah Sheikh Mohammad Nasir

A 23-year-old tailor from Bihar, who has spent the last two years in Dubai, started joining Big Ticket after noticing his coworkers routinely buying entries. Together, they participate as a group of 20.

This draw marked the first time a ticket was registered under his name, and it ended up being the lucky one. He plans to use his portion of the winnings to support his family back home and help with renovating their house. The whole group is excited about the win and has already secured their ticket for the next draw.

Amru Miah Ashik Miah

Amru Miah, a Bangladeshi national, secured an AED 100,000 consolation prize with ticket number 199-873. Although he hasn’t revealed how he plans to use the money, he was thrilled when he heard the news of his win.

Mohammed Ariful Islam Mohammed Jafar

Mohammed Ariful, a Bangladeshi expatriate, claimed an AED 100,000 consolation prize with ticket number 317-491. He hasn’t disclosed how he intends to use the winnings, but he was delighted when he learned about his win.

Mohammad Monsor Azad Fazlul

A 42-year-old Bangladeshi entrepreneur, who has lived in Ras Al Khaimah for six years, was recently awarded a consolation prize in the latest Big Ticket draw.

Sanil Kumar

Sanil Kumar, a 40-year-old accountant from Kerala, has lived in Dubai with his family for 15 years. He learned about Big Ticket online and has been regularly buying tickets for the past five years.

He purchases a ticket every month, often teaming up with colleagues. This is his second time winning; his first was in 2024, when he and a group of ten friends shared an AED 100,000 weekly e-draw prize.

Sanil said the latest win felt particularly special. “I was very happy when I got the winning call,” he recalled. Since this ticket was bought with ten friends, he hasn’t decided how to use his share yet. He does, however, plan to keep taking part in future Big Ticket draws.
