After much anticipation, Taylor Swift’s highly awaited Eras Tour documentary has finally arrived.
The six-part series, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, provides an extensive look at the pop icon’s record-setting tour, which concluded a year ago. The first two episodes are set to premiere on Friday, December 12, with two additional episodes releasing each week until the finale on December 26.
In addition to the docuseries, Swift is launching a new concert film, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, also on December 12. Unlike the 2023 theatrical release, this version includes the complete Tortured Poets Department segment performed during the final concert of the tour.
Release schedule
December 12: Episodes 1 and 2
December 19: Episodes 3 and 4
December 26: Episodes 5 and 6
UAE release time
For Taylor Swift fans in the UAE, both the docuseries and The Final Show will be available starting Friday at 12 noon. Disney+ usually premieres new releases at 12 a.m. Pacific Time, which corresponds to 12 p.m. in the UAE.
How, where to watch Eras Tour docuseries, film
Both The End of an Era and The Final Show will be available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+. Although Hulu isn’t accessible in the UAE, residents can still watch both the docuseries and the concert film on Disney+.
For many Taylor Swift fans in the UAE who missed out on the Eras Tour, this provides their first opportunity to experience the full show—particularly after last year’s Vienna concerts were cancelled. The Vienna leg was called off abruptly due to authorities confirming a “planned terrorist attack,” leaving fans worldwide, including some from Dubai, stranded after spending over Dh10,000 on tickets and travel.
What the docuseries covers
The End of an Era offers fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Taylor Swift’s most ambitious tour yet, highlighting everything from rehearsals and costume preparations to life on the road and the immense production challenges of a tour running from March 2023 to December 2024. Meanwhile, The Final Show documents her closing performance at BC Place in Vancouver on December 8, 2024, featuring the full Tortured Poets Department segment.

How the Eras Tour documentary was announced
Taylor Swift initially announced the docuseries and concert film during an October appearance on Good Morning America and later shared more details on Instagram.
She wrote, “We wanted to preserve every moment leading up to the conclusion of one of the most significant and intense chapters of our lives. That’s why we invited filmmakers to document the tour, capturing all the stories along the way, and to record the final show in full.”Taylor Swift revealed both the docuseries and concert film on October 13 — a date that holds special meaning for her, as she has a long-standing affinity for the number 13. Beyond being her favorite number, she considers it a symbol of luck. Her debut album went gold in 13 weeks, both Fearless and 1989 feature 13 tracks, and her birthday falls on December 13. Fans quickly noticed the connection, sparking speculation that releasing the docuseries just a day before her birthday might hint at a special surprise on December 13.
Will Travis Kelce make an appearance?
Yes, Taylor Swift’s fiancé, NFL player Travis Kelce, makes an appearance in the docuseries. In the official trailer, her mother, Andrea, is heard saying, “Travis Kelce — he brings a lot of happiness,” while short clips show the couple supporting one another. The series also features appearances from collaborators and fellow artists, including Ed Sheeran, Sabrina Carpenter, and Florence Welch.
