Hotels and apartments in Dubai with views of the New Year’s Eve fireworks are now priced at more than Dh200,000

Dubai accommodations overlooking the New Year’s Eve fireworks are commanding sky-high prices, with some hotels and apartments costing more than Dh200,000 for a single night during the holiday celebrations.

From upscale apartments on Palm Jumeirah to premium hotels in Downtown Dubai, accommodation prices are surging as residents and tourists gear up for New Year’s Eve. With just weeks left until the celebrations, demand for rooms, villas and apartments offering front-row views of Dubai’s iconic fireworks has spiked. Some listings have already crossed Dh200,000 for a two-night booking.

Dubai’s NYE festivities feature dazzling firework displays across the city — from Atlantis, The Palm and the Burj Khalifa to Global Village and Dubai Festival City — giving people plenty of locations to ring in the New Year. One high-end apartment on Palm Jumeirah’s Golden Mile, which can host six guests, is listed at Dh210,633 for a stay from December 30 to January 1. This amounts to roughly Dh17,500 per person per day, or more than Dh700 an hour. The residence includes both a rooftop and private pool, along with ocean views.

Another luxury option, a six-bedroom villa on the Palm’s Frond G, is priced at nearly Dh160,000 for two nights. Guests staying here gain access to a private beach, and the villa also features an outdoor pool and a lift.

Burj Khalifa

In Downtown Dubai, anyone hoping for a prime view of the world’s tallest building on New Year’s Eve has several high-end choices. At Burj Royale, a three-bedroom unit that can host up to eight guests is listed at nearly Dh165,000 for a two-night stay.

The Burj Khalifa remains one of the most sought-after NYE destinations in the country, thanks to its famous fireworks and laser spectacle. Both tourists and residents are willing to pay premium rates for a clear view, with some restaurants near Dubai Mall charging as much as Dh12,000 per person for a seat on December 31.

For groups seeking even more room, a five-bedroom penthouse situated directly across from the Burj Khalifa is available at around Dh148,000.

Hotel stays

At the Armani Hotel, guests must book a minimum of three nights over the New Year’s period, and most room types have already been snapped up. Among the few still available is the Armani Dubai Suite, which sleeps six and is priced at Dh45,000 per night. Designed by Giorgio Armani himself, the suite sits on the 39th floor and offers views of the Arabian Gulf.

Meanwhile, the Address Dubai Mall is charging Dh12,319 per night for its premier suite, which overlooks both the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. A minimum three-night stay applies, and the suite can host up to four guests.

Over on Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis The Royal is offering its Sky Pool Villa with sea views at Dh31,841 per night, but guests must book at least five nights. This brings the total cost for an NYE stay to Dh159,205. The villa includes a private infinity pool facing the Arabian Sea and accommodates four people.
