New resort Janu Al Marjan Island unveiled, set to open in Ras Al Khaimah by late 2028.

Wynn Resorts, in partnership with Marjan, has revealed plans for their second collaborative project on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah — Janu Al Marjan Island.
Situated opposite Wynn Al Marjan Island, the UAE’s inaugural integrated resort, this upscale property is set to welcome guests by late 2028.
The Aman Group, renowned for its portfolio of ultra-luxury hotels, resorts, and residences, will oversee the management and operations of the resort. Janu will offer 132 guestrooms with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, complemented by a state-of-the-art wellness centre featuring a yoga studio, fitness area, banya, and hammam. Guests can enjoy a diverse dining experience with two restaurants, a mixology bar, a nightlife lounge, and a Kids’ Club. The resort will also boast its own private beach, beach club, and swimming pool, creating a complete coastal retreat.
Next to the hotel, a residential tower will rise as part of the new development, introducing a collection of Janu-branded homes designed to reflect the brand’s contemporary elegance and serene aesthetic. The residences will include a variety of one- to five-bedroom apartments, each crafted with meticulous attention to detail, offering residents sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf and access to exclusive lifestyle amenities. In addition to the apartments, a limited number of private villas will be available, providing spacious layouts, direct beach access, and an elevated sense of privacy and comfort. These homes are expected to attract discerning buyers seeking a balance of luxury, wellness, and community living within Ras Al Khaimah’s growing hospitality landscape.
Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming development, noting that the introduction of Janu Al Marjan Island will further enhance the destination’s global appeal. “We are thrilled to welcome them as our new neighbors,” he said, highlighting the synergy between the two world-class properties. Tappeiner added that the presence of Janu — with its unique focus on mindful living, hospitality, and design — complements the vision behind Wynn’s integrated resort experience.
He further emphasized that the arrival of Janu’s guests and residential owners will add vibrancy to the island, fostering greater engagement and high-end tourism. “Beyond the strength of the project itself,” Tappeiner noted, “we believe that Janu’s clientele will bring a new wave of sophisticated travelers to Al Marjan Island, creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration and shared success.”
Together, the Janu and Wynn developments are set to redefine Ras Al Khaimah’s luxury hospitality landscape, reinforcing the emirate’s ambition to emerge as one of the Middle East’s most sought-after lifestyle and leisure destinations by the end of the decade.
Abdulla Al Abdouli, Chief Executive Officer of Marjan, shared his excitement about the partnership, emphasizing that the arrival of Janu marks another milestone in the evolution of Al Marjan Island as a world-class destination. He noted that Janu’s approach to hospitality — centered on meaningful experiences, mindful living, and modern luxury — resonates strongly with Marjan’s broader vision of creating an exceptional coastal community that blends sophistication, wellness, and connection.
Al Abdouli highlighted that Janu’s “philosophy of soulful luxury” complements the island’s master plan, which focuses on delivering distinctive lifestyle destinations that appeal to both international travelers and residents seeking elevated living. “We are delighted to welcome such a globally respected brand to our expanding portfolio of signature developments,” he said, noting that Janu’s presence further strengthens Al Marjan Island’s reputation as a hub for premium hospitality and investment opportunities.
He added that the collaboration with Aman Group — the parent company behind the Janu brand — reflects Marjan’s commitment to curating partnerships with world-leading developers and operators who share their vision for quality and innovation. “Our goal has always been to attract brands that bring authenticity, design excellence, and a strong sense of place,” Al Abdouli explained. “Janu represents all of that and more, offering a unique perspective on luxury that emphasizes human connection and well-being.”
Looking ahead, Al Abdouli expressed confidence that the addition of Janu Al Marjan Island will enhance the emirate’s global tourism appeal and contribute significantly to Ras Al Khaimah’s long-term growth strategy. “This project reinforces Al Marjan Island’s position as a benchmark for luxury coastal developments in the region,” he concluded, “and we look forward to seeing Janu enrich the island’s vibrant mix of hospitality, leisure, and lifestyle experiences.”
