UAE Weather Update: Several regions have been issued red and yellow fog warnings. Meanwhile, Dubai is forecasted to experience partly cloudy skies with temperatures peaking at around 36ºC today.
UAE residents hoping for cooler weekend weather can anticipate mostly fair to partly cloudy skies on Saturday, October 18. Some clouds are expected to move in from the east and south by the afternoon, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Humidity will increase overnight into Sunday morning across certain coastal and inland areas, with the possibility of fog or mist forming. Red and yellow fog warnings have been issued due to reduced visibility in some regions, remaining in effect until 9:00 AM today.
Forecasted temperatures across the UAE will fluctuate between 18ºC and 39ºC. Dubai is set to reach a maximum of 36ºC, while Abu Dhabi will hit 37ºC. On Friday, Sweihan recorded the day’s peak at 39ºC around 3:30 PM.

Winds are expected to be light to moderate, initially from the southeast and later shifting to the northwest, blowing at speeds between 10 and 20 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 30 km/h.
Sea conditions will remain calm to slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
